The project coordinator of the Action is Expertise and Innovation Centre Barging (EICB). EICB is a non-profit organization that stands for a more innovative IWT sector. EICB predominantly works on improving the sustainable character of the inland waterway transport sector. The accumulation, analysis and dissemination of information forms thereby an important part of the activities. This happens in cooperation with partners from the industry, the branch and IWT companies.

As a consortium our mission is to reduce the investment barrier for ship owners with the aim to facilitate large scale implementation of LNG in inland waterway transport (IWT), thus forcing a breakthrough in the LNG market.
